Anti-Smoking policy/ 2022-2023

 

 

Here at the American University Schools of the Middle East we have a smoke free environment. There should be no smoking by students, staff or visitors in the buildings or on any part of the site at any time.

Students found in possession of smoking (natural tobacco, vaping devises, electronic cigarettes est. will have it confiscated, and stored safely. Parents may collect the items after --14-- days, after which they will be disposed of.

 

Students found to be smoking, or associating with others who are smoking, will be sanctioned from the time of the infraction, the sanction is left at the principal's discretion. The student will be referred to the School Counselor so that they are offered support to quit. School Counselor will contact and notify the Parents about the infraction.
